Innovequity has aligned itself with a variety of partners interested in supporting the widespread adoption of the GCS as an industry standard. These complimentary stakeholders have supported Innovequity in different ways, each contributing to our current progress.
Through the Duncan McNeil Centre for Innovation and novaNAIT, NAIT assisted with the engineering and documentation processes of the GCS. As a result of their contribution, NAIT has taken an equity postion and sits on Innovequity’s Board of Directors. NAIT has contributed significant cash, expertise and time in the past and has made commitments to further its support in the future.
Innovequity has contracted WebbCo International Inc. to assist with commercialization. Furthermore, WebbCo has identified further commercial and partnership opportunities to support Innovequity during the commercialization process.
Affordable housing is an issue in every North American city. For those areas most critical, Habitat for Humanity is investigating the potential for GCS utilization in their development projects. Innovequity has received a strong letter of support from the organization, and there is the potential to produce developments for Habitat for Humanity.
WinAlta is one of Western Canada’s largest factory built housing manufacturer. Innovequity has formed a relationship with WinAlta through which many aspects of prototyping involved WinAlta. Future ommercialization aspects of Innovequity will also be supported by WinAlta as an industry partner.
